Notice is hereby given of a regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission of City of San Angelo to be 
held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the City Hall – East Mezzanine, 72 West College 
Avenue, San Angelo, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items:  
 
1. Call to Order 
2. Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting  
3. Approval of the daily action log 
4. Closed Session 
a. Section 551.074 and Civil Service Rule V, Section 21 - Deliberate the employment, evaluation, 
reassignment, and duties of Officer Renee Hanna 
b. Consideration and possible action of items discussed in Closed Session, if needed 
5. Discussion and possible action regarding amendment of Local Rule V, Section 22: “Notice of 
Meetings” regarding removal of news media noticing 
6. Discussion and possible action regarding amendment of Local Rule XI, by adding a new Section 62.1: 
“Preference for Entry Level Positions in the Fire Department Only” regarding preference in 
appointment of newly hired Fire recruits  
7. Adjournment
