If you are pointing us at a document, tell us what it is called and which office has it — we can request it. Please do not paste anything that would identify you if you want to stay anonymous.

What we do and don't collect

We do not store

Your IP address is not recorded against your submission. We do not set tracking cookies, run analytics, or embed third-party scripts on this site. If you leave the email field blank, there is nothing in the message that identifies you.

Be realistic about anonymity

This form is as private as we can make it, but no web form is perfect. If you are a city or county employee and disclosure would put your job at risk, consider using a device and network that are not your employer's, and a browser you do not sign into. If the matter is serious, talk to a lawyer before you talk to us.

What we will not do

We will not publish a tip as fact. A tip is a lead — we use it to decide which records to request. What gets published is the document that comes back, not your message. We also will not name you, ever, unless you explicitly ask us to.
