I'll call this uh city council meeting to order on Tuesday November the 22nd I don't see anybody in the out here for public comment but I will read this the issues with concerns not on the regular agenda may be raised by the public at this time citizens should speak from the podium address all comments to the diocese and begin by stating their name and address or single member district and limit their remarks to less than three minutes any public comment seeing none then we'll move into the agenda item consider a resolution canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the special election held on November 8th 2022 the city held their special election Tuesday November 8 2022 a Texas uniform election date early voting was conducted weekdays October 24th through November 4th with weekend early voting conducted October 29th and October 30th in accordance with the Texas election code there was one special measure on the ballot proposition a the city council officially finds determines and declares the results of the special election to be that proposition a passed receiving 13 205 votes in favor or 55.97 percent and 10 390 votes in opposition or 44.03 percent the resolution in the council meeting packet includes a prepare tabulation of votes for and against the measure by Precinct and totaled as required by election code 67.004 I make a motion to adopt the resolution
