Special meetings: Development Corporation and City Council 3-11-15

[0:00:01] all right good morning everybody it is uh wednesday morning 8 30. i want to welcome everybody to the special agenda or special meeting for the city of san diego development corporation it is 8 30. i will now call the meeting to order and we will move to executive session executive session of the provision of government code title v open government ethics subtitle a open government chapter 551 open meeting sub chapter d acceptance to requirement that meetings be open section 551.0717071 to consult with an attorney on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the texas disciplinary rules and professional conduct of the state bar of texas clearly conflicts with this chapter regarding matters related to development agreements between the city of san angelo city of san angelo development corporation and mart for hirschfield energy systems it is 8 31. we are an executive session all right it is 8 45 and we are coming back out of close uh out of close session and we have a resolution in front of us a written resolution in front of us to be for consideration okay i move that the board adopt the resolution authorizing the filing of a lawsuit against martin for hirschfield energy systems llc hirschfield wind energy solutions llc hirschfield wind energy solutions 2 as roman numeral 2 llc hershfield holdings management company llc at all relating to that certain economic development agreement for a renewable energy plant project by and between the city of san angelo development corporation cosa dc and martin field martin martifor hirschfield energy systems llc parenthetically m-h-e-s seeking enforcement of the obligations of the parties under the agreement and such other relief to which kosodc is entitled under the agreement at law or in equity in the form presented all right i have a motion on the floor second i have a second

[0:08:13] uh is there any other business we need to take care of i'll move for uh german i moved to adjourn okay can i give you announcement before we do sure i mean yeah you know before we caught before i called for that i would appreciate it um i'm going to have my neighborhood chat uh on monday march 16th at saint paul presbyterian church and it will begin at six o'clock there will be refreshments and we're going to talk to the neighborhood and friends of the neighborhood about the capital improvements plan and get their take and rick gave us sticky notes but i'm going to give them money and see where they want to spend their money so i would appreciate the opportunity to let the public know about that meeting okay yes also daniel and i are meeting with some residents of the district about the train horn i would imagine that there are other residents in the community that are interested in that and we'll be probably bringing something to the council if nothing else in the form of information at a later date will you explain how you're going to give them money instead of sticking out what is that i like monopoly money oh we're going to see where we're going to see where they want to spend their dollars in the community johnny wanted to go he was like i would imagine it's going to be pink yellow blue not not green i wanted clarity okay don do you have anything no sir charlotte yes i do um april the 9th at tlc church maine hall at 6 00 pm i'm having a town hall meeting and we're going to be calling the series of these let's talk and the information that we're going to be talking about is new development and the streets and so forth out in my district and the building traffic problems and let the residents know what is coming and what is in the plans and in the hopper and to hear from them their concerns and mr valenzuela will be
